So i dont want this page to look like we are only promoting a small group of people but i have to admit that im really into DJ Mehdi new artist Mapei.

Mapei born Jaqueline Cummings is a female MC from Stockholm, Sweden. In 2008 she became one of those internet sensation thanxs to her first hit "Video Vixens". She has been working on her first EP with french producer DJ Mehdi since then. The girl is the anti pop artist par excellence. Her voice reminds me of Lauryn Hill circa "Fugeela" , the lyrics are too dope for words.  Check out her myspace page for more.

Our song of the day is the official video for Stockholm's Name the Pet, about whom we know next to nothing.

Name The Pet's new song "Get On The Bus" has something of a good old Kylie Minogue song mixed with a simple synth-bass line that we can't get it out of ours heads.

D.A. Wallach and Maxwell Drummey, who make up the duo, Chester French just premiered their Paul Hunter directed video for their first single,"She Loves Everybody" The track is from their debut album Love the Future, which drops on March 31st. These two Harvard graduates wrote, arranged, produced and engineered the album in their dorm's basement. The boys are signed to Pharrell' Star Trak Music, via Interscope.
